Swiss DNA Bank guarantees its users the highest security, thanks to the most advanced authentication technology available. This technology is our one-time password (OTP) access card which is an electronic device that generates a different random password for you when you access your Swiss DNA Bank account. This is a credit card size device that you can always conveniently carry with you.
In addition to your selected username and password, each access requires the one-time access code generated by your card.
Our data storage facilities are organized in a layered infrastructure. Just like any traditional system, the user interacts with a web server which runs Swiss DNA Bank's Forever Account. Here you can access all of our service's functions. However, data which requires higher confidentiality (your memories) is encrypted and archived in a second storage layer, called the Forever server. This precious data is stored in a Swiss underground nuclear-proof shelter, located at the heart of the Swiss Alps.
Swiss DNA Bank’s internal security management follows a military level security protocol. No single operator can access Swiss DNA Bank's data.
Data transaction and storage security
The Swiss DNA Bank storage system contains the most valuable data on the planet: human experience. This is why our storage facilities rely on the safest technology available. We pay extra attention to both the physical security of the storage units and the digital security of data itself.
At Swiss DNA Bank we have a multiple level security system.
ACCESS SECURITY: we rely on a bank security authentication protocol with our RFC 4226 one-time access code and RFC 4880 asymmetric-key cryptography.
DATA STORAGE: multiple redundant servers make your information impenetrable. We split your information in three separate locations. The first stores your encrypted data, a second location houses the cryptographic keys to decode your data, and a third houses the digital match between your data and its cryptographic keys.
